Celebrate Palo Verde’s uniquely diverse community on October 20 from 3:00 – 5:30pm!
This beloved cultural festival is the most well-attended event of the year. You can check out photos from last year’s event here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/ qF7SLhWNJ8KRo6LV8
We’ll have booths representing more than 15 different countries including an incredible array of food, games, music, crafts and activities – all created by our parent community. Do not miss it!
Please email yaelcow yahoo dot com if you’d like to help at the event!
Last week’s book fair was a great success – our students were so excited to see the MP Room filled with an incredible selection of books. Author David Shannon entertained our Kinder, 1st and 2nd Grade students – and Principal Annora Lee and Librarian Amy Hansen each hosted an evening storytime complete with milk & cookies!
Thank you to Becca, Hua, Iva, Joslyn, Mirlaine, Nanda, Sabita, Shiraaz, Shubha and Yael for all of their help – and special thanks to Aimee for joining the team on the cash registers this year and for her support the entire week! Thanks also to our phenomenal partner, Books Inc. for providing a well-curated selection of books and knowledgeable specialists.
Your Book Fair Co-Chairs, Na’ama Porat & Martha Mitchell
