(Volunteers needed please email: glen.denise.white (at) Farmer’s Market at Palo Verde
The Palo Verde PTA board has decided to trial run a farmer’s market at Palo Verde through Farmigo, subject to community interest and if someone volunteers to run the program on behalf of the PTA.
Farmigo is an online farmers market featuring the best small family farms and local producers where the food is harvested or prepared to order. The online farmer’s market will be exclusive to Palo Verde families and staff only. Families/staff can order their weekly groceries, seasonal fruits and vegetables, to meat, eggs, bread, dairy, artisanal treats and more all organically and sustainably sourced from local farmers through a Farmigo website created for Palo Verde. Prices are comparable to some of the organic prices at Safeway. Orders will be delivered once a week to Palo Verde. With enough orders, Farmigo will give 10% of total sales back to Palo Verde. The parent who volunteers to distribute the produce to our families at school on a weekly basis will get 30% off their orders. For more information on Farmigo and to see what they have to offer, please visit https://www.farmigo.com/market/ohlonekidsclub-paloalto
Please note, that this program will only run if we have a volunteer and sufficient interest among our Palo Verde school community members including staff. To help us gauge interest please sign up here if you would be interested in participating

Note: Kids who love to sing and are able to read simple song lyrics are sure to enjoy this one. Some walking with adults is also required (1/2 mile total in a low traffic PV neighborhood).
